How to find songs and clear search history on Mac Music app

With the search button of your Music app, you can search for the songs you’re looking for. Not only songs, but you can also search for albums, playlists, genre, artists, radio stations, and much more. A subscriber of Apple Music can search for the music, shows, beats, etc online. And a non-subscriber can find and play their locally stored content, music radio stations, and iTunes Store. Subscribers can check the trending content. How to find your My Music songs and contents on the Music app in Mac

1.    Launch the app on your Mac.

2.    Click on the ‘Search’ button. A button with magnifying glass icon near the upper-right corner.

3.    When the Search field and options appear, click on ‘My Library/Music’ button.

4.    Now, enter the ‘Song name/artist name/album/playlist, etc.’ in the searching field.

5.    And, start searching.

How to find songs and contents on Apple Music with the Music app

If you’re a subscriber of Apple Music, then you can search online for songs, shows, and much more on Apple Music. But, the non-subscriber can only use music radio stations.

1.    Launch the app on your Mac.

3.    When the Search field and options appear, click on ‘Apple Music’ button.

How to find trending searches

You’ll find trending searches on the searching screen.

1.    Launch the app on your Mac.

2.    Click on the ‘Search’ button. A button with magnifying glass icon near the upper-right corner.

3.    When the Search field and options appear, click on ‘Apple Music’ button.

4.    Below the “Trending Searches” heading, you’ll see all the trending searches.

5.    If you want to search for one, just click on it.

How to view and delete search history/Recent Searches of Music app on Mac

Whenever you search for something, it gets recorded into the Search history. Search history tells you about your past searches. You can check it to know about your recent searches.

1.    Launch the app on your Mac.

2.    Click on the ‘Search’ button. A button with magnifying glass icon near the upper-right corner.

3.    On the left side window, you’ll see your recent searches.

4.    To again search for a recent result, click on it.

Steps to delete search history/Recent Searches:

1.    Go to the search history/Recent Searches menu.

2.    Click ‘Clear’ at the right-top corner.

3.    Click ‘Clear Recent Searches’ on the pop-up menu to confirm.
